Ambit Broadband has its Global HQ in Taiwan, and is a leading supplier of Broadband Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) to the world’s largest Broadband Service Providers.

Ambit was established in 1991 and initially focused on modems for Dial Up internet access. In 1999 Ambit started to develop Broadband Cable and ADSL Modems, initially for other Vendors, but then in 2001 started to directly supply leading Broadband providers in Europe, the US and Asia.

Since that time Ambit has shipped more than 10 Million units of Cable Broadband CPE, including Data only modems, integrated home network modems with embedded wireless, and Voice over IP (VoIP) units.
